Oatmeal Cookie Recipe #2


1/2 Cup Softened Butter
1/2 Cup Softened Peanut Butter
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar (firmly packed)
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1-1/2 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
3 Cup Uncooked Snoqualmie Falls Lodge Oats
1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips or Mini M&Ms

Pre-Heat oven to 350°F.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well. Set aside.

Beat butter, peanut butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well.

Add butter ingredients and chocolate chips (or mini M&M's) to flour bowl. Mix well.

Add oats. Mix well.

Drop dough balls (rounded tablespoonfuls) onto foiled cookie sheets. Flatten slightly.

Bake 10-11 minutes or until top of cookie is a light golden brown.

Move aluminum foil (with cookies) to a cooling area to prevent additional cooking of cookie bottom.


Makes about 48 cookies
